“I Love Fair Trade!” Official Contest Rules (“Terms and Conditions”)

1. No purchase is necessary. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local regulations apply.

2. I Love Fair Trade! (“The Contest”) is open to all persons. Employees, agents, and representatives of Your Olive Branch (“Your Olive Branch”), participating sponsors, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to participate. The term “immediate family members” includes spouses, parents, siblings, grandparents, children, grandchildren and cohabiting significant others.

3. The Contest will consist of two separate rounds: The Submission Period (“Round 1″) and The Voting Period (“Round 2″).  Round 1 will begin on July 5, 2010, and end on September 26, 2010 at 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time.

All entries must be submitted online at http://yobo.org.  All entries must be received by 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time on September 26, 2010. Late, incomplete, or illegible entries will be disregarded.  There is no limit to the number of entries that a person may submit during Round 1.

Contestants are invited to submit text, photo, video, or other media in response to the statement “I Love Fair Trade” (“Contest Topic”).  The total size of any file submitted in response to the topic may not exceed Five Megabytes (5MB).

At the conclusion of Round 1, the contest judges (“Judges”) will select ten entrants (“Finalists”) for consideration during Round 2.  Judging will be based upon the following criteria (“Criteria”): creativity, technical quality, and engagement with Contest Topic.  The Judges will consist of Your Olive Branch employees.

Round 2 will begin on October 3, 2010, and end on November 5, 2010 at 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time.  At the commencement of Round 2, the ten Finalists’ entries will be made available to the general public at Your Olive Branch (http://yobo.org).  For the duration of Round 2, visitors to Your Olive Branch will be allowed to vote for the winning entry (“Grand Prize Winner”) based upon consideration of the ten Finalists’ entries.  Limit one vote per person.

At the end of Round 2, the Finalist with the most votes will be named the Grand Prize Winner.  If at any point during the Contest Period a Finalist or Grand Prize Winner is deemed ineligible for consideration, the judges will select a new Grand Prize Winner from the remaining pool of Finalists.

Your Olive Branch reserves the right to modify the contest schedule based on the number of entries received.

4. The Grand Prize will consist of goods provided by Indigenous Designs and Alter Eco (Approximate total value: 2,000 US Dollars.)  Please note that the actual total value of The Grand Prize is approximate and may vary upon conclusion of The Contest.

Indigenous Designs will provide one Grand Prize Winner with a redemption voucher to be used to redeem products from the Indigenous Designs online store.  The total value of the redeemed products from Indigenous Designs, including shipping, may not exceed 1,000 US Dollars.  Prices are based on the manager’s suggested retail value (“MSRP”) of the products at the time of redemption.  Indigenous Designs reserves the right to disqualify any product or products from inclusion as an eligible prize.

Alter-Eco will provide The Grand Prize Winner with a redemption voucher to be used to redeem products from the Alter Eco online store.  The total value of the redeemed products from Alter Eco, including shipping costs, may not exceed 1,000 US Dollars.  Prices are based on the products’ MSRP at the time of redemption.  Alter Eco reserves the right to disqualify any product or products from inclusion as an eligible prize.

One Consolation Prize will be awarded to each of the nine Finalists who are not named The Grand Prize Winner (“Runners Up.”) Each Consolation Prize will consist of one of each of the following items: one “Your Olive Branch” t-shirt, one packet of organic lettuce seeds, one copy of “Soldiers of Peace” DVD. (Approximate total value of each consolation prize, including shipping: 50 US Dollars).

All prizes are awarded “as is.”   Prizes are nontransferable and cannot be exchanged or sold. No substitute prize will be awarded to a winner who declines to accept a prize.

5. All State, Local, Federal and other taxes, duties, tariffs, title fees, licensing fees, or other fees for prizes awarded become the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner and the Runners Up.

6. Your Olive Branch shall not be responsible for the failure of participating sponsors to deliver the prizes or any part thereof as described herein.

7. All entrants and winners agree that Your Olive Branch and its members, directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives shall have no liability for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property incurred by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest and/or by the use or non-use of any prize received in connection with this contest.

8. Proper identification must be presented by any winner to claim a prize. As a condition to receiving the prize, any potential winner must complete and sign a Winner’s Affidavit and Release, releasing Your Olive Branch, its members, directors, officers, and employees from all liability in connection with winner’s participation in the contest and acceptance, use, or non-use of the prize.

9. All entry blanks, forms, devices, and materials gathered during the course of entry, as well as all information contained on or within, shall become the sole property of Your Olive Branch to be used, disposed of or destroyed in their sole discretion. Your Olive Branch is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information entered by website users, and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to the yobo website.

All entrants agree that they are the sole owners of any work that they submit at the time of submission.  Work fully or partially owned by third parties is strictly prohibited and will be disqualified from entry.

10. All entrants and winners agree to give Your Olive Branch, its licensees, successors, and assigns the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use, re-use, broadcast, or publish winner’s name, age, city of residence, photo, video tape, film or any other likeness, including portraits and pictures, in whole or in part, as part of a composite, retouched or distorted in character or form for any reason Your Olive Branch deems necessary without compensation, unless prohibited by law. All winners release, discharge, and agree to save harmless Your Olive Branch, its members, directors, officers, employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims they may have against Your Olive Branch in connection with the taking, production, or the use of winners’ name, age, city of residence, any photo, video tape, film or any other likeness, including portraits and pictures, in whole or in part, as part of a composite, retouched, or distorted in character or form and without restrictions as to any changes, transformations or alterations, and including winners’ voices, recorded or live.  All winners further acknowledge that Your Olive Branch owns or will own exclusively any photographs of such winners used for such purposes, including the copyrights in them, regardless of the form in which they have been or may be produced and used, and all winners assign all such ownership rights to Your Olive Branch.

11. By participating in the Contest, each participant is given the option to receive email communications from Your Olive Branch. Any participant that opts-out of these mailings may do so without removing themselves from the contest.

12. By participating in the Contest, participants agree to be bound by the decisions of Your Olive Branch personnel. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Unsportsmanlike, disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior is prohibited. Your Olive Branch will interpret these rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and Your Olive Branch’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If the conduct or outcome of the Contest is affected by human error, any mechanical malfunctions or failures of any kind, intentional interference or any event beyond the control of Your Olive Branch, Your Olive Branch reserves the right to terminate this Contest, or make such other decisions regarding the administration or outcome as Your Olive Branch deems appropriate. All decisions made by Your Olive Branch are final. Your Olive Branch may waive any of these rules in its sole discretion. ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY CIRCUMVENT, DISRUPT OR DAMAGE ORDINARY AND NORMAL OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST, TELEPHONE SYSTEMS OR WEBSITES, OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, YOUR OLIVE BRANCH RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PARTICIPANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

13. By participating in this contest, each participant agrees to waive any and all claims for damages for death, personal injury, loss of property or property damage that he or she may sustain as a result of his or her participation in the contest and/or the use of any prize, and any damages or losses arising from the implementation or carrying out of the contest or any participant’s failure to win the contest or receive the prize, and to release Your Olive Branch and its directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all liability arising out of or connected in any way with his or her participation in the contest, even though that liability may arise out of an intentional act, omission, negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities mentioned above.

14. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

15. Your Olive Branch will announce the Winner and Runners Up at http://yobo.org on November 12, 2010.  You can also request a list of winners by emailing contest@yobo.org
