International Women’s Day has been an occasion for reflection and celebration since the early 1900s, a time when the world’s economies and political topographies experienced a disorienting shift. Armed with fearless voices and powerful ideas, women campaigned for peace in the midst of global war, battled the abuses of industrialization, and called for an end to systematic injustice at every level of society.

This year we offered our first Training of Trainers to 30 participants who have been with us before. Following that, we offered another basic workshop, this time assisted by our TOT group who led exercises and reviewed designs and strategies. Hopefully the TOT group members will stay connected to each other during the year, and the strongest among them will start leading their own workshops.
